Yes, the ticket is valid on the day of arrival and departure. Here is a brief guide:
To use the ticket on the day of arrival, you must provide us with the following information at least 2 days before arrival:
- Email address
- Full address
- Date of birth
- Passport number
- The names of all arriving persons, including their dates of birth
For multiple rooms/groups, please send the room allocation with the complete information. We require an email address for each room with the corresponding data.
Brief instructions:
- A few days before arrival, you will receive an email about the ‘digital holiday companion’.
- Register online.
- Activate the tickets in the ‘Guest Mobility Ticket’ menu item.
- Please note: you must register and activate the ticket within 24 hours.
- Done!
Yes. The email address we have on file will receive a link for all fellow travellers, and the tickets for all fellow travellers will be available in the app. You can also share the app: Please select the ‘Invite fellow travellers’ function in ‘My trip’ in the app – here you can then invite additional people.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is possible from 3 p.m., check-out by 10 a.m.
You can use the beach and sunbathing lawn on the day of arrival and departure, subject to availability – please enquire at reception in advance.
Parking spaces and e-charging stations
Our guests can park free of charge directly at the hotel. Two 11 kW charging stations for electric cars are also available for a fee. There are also Super Chargers from Salzburg AG in the village of Fuschl am See.
Bus
Regional bus 150 runs from Salzburg Central Station to Fuschl am See town centre. The service runs every 30 minutes during the day. It is only a short walk (approx. 800 m) from Fuschl am See town centre to the hotel. We can also arrange a pick-up from the bus stop for you; please let us know a few days in advance.
What is the Guest Mobility Ticket?
This ticket allows you to use all public transport in the province of Salzburg free of charge – including bus 150 to Bad Ischl. All information can be found under ‘Guest Mobility Ticket’.
Salzkammergut Summer Card
The card is included free of charge for stays of 4 nights or more. It offers numerous discounts on mountain railways, museums, swimming pools and excursion destinations throughout the region.
Opening hours
From May to October. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., snacks and strudel are available in the afternoon, and dinner is served from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. (arrival).
Can I book breakfast only?
Yes, at Seewinkel you enjoy complete flexibility – book with breakfast and plan your day individually. Dinner can be added spontaneously, subject to availability.
What does the evening restaurant offer?
A 4-course half-board menu with Austrian and international specialities, prepared with regional, high-quality ingredients.
Opening hours
Our small but exquisite wellness area in the main building is open from May to October – with a Finnish sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. We do not have fixed opening hours; we cater to our guests' needs.
Can I book massages?
Of course – we are happy to arrange appointments at partner studios in the area upon request.
Bathrobes and beach towels
Bathrobes and beach towels for your entire stay are available at reception.
What water sports equipment can I use?
SUPs, kayaks, canoes, rowing boats and pedal boats are available free of charge – directly from the hotel's own beach.
Fishing
Lake Fuschl is known for its excellent water quality and abundance of fish – ideal for anyone who enjoys fishing. Fishing boats can be hired directly from Schloss Fuschl Fischerei; where you can also obtain the necessary fishing permits.
Tennis courts in Fuschl
The new clay courts of USV Fuschl am See are just a few minutes away from the hotel. Reservations can be made online via the USV Fuschl website.
Bicycles and e-bikes
Mountain bikes and e-bikes are available at the hotel for a fee. Tour recommendations and maps are available at reception. Our bicycle garage is available to all guests free of charge.
Green fee discounts
You can benefit from heavily discounted green fees at 10 golf courses in the Salzkammergut.
Fuschlseebad
If you stay at our hotel for 4 nights or more, you will receive free admission. A beautiful wellness area and fitness centre are available for a fee.
The Hotel Seewinkel is ideally located for shopping enthusiasts: in just 25 minutes, you can reach Salzburg's old town with its famous Getreidegasse, the exclusive boutiques in Europark and the Designer Outlet Salzburg. Our guests receive up to 10% discount at the Designer Outlet – the relevant information cards are available at reception.

The hotel is heated using environmentally friendly district heating with wood chip heating. Our electricity comes from 100% renewable energy from Salzburg AG.

Work where others go on holiday – at Hotel Seewinkel, you will find the perfect setting for small seminars, workshops or team meetings amidst inspiring scenery, right on the shores of Lake Fuschl. Our seminar room – a separate room (approx. 30 m²) within the restaurant – can accommodate up to 12 people and can be used flexibly as required. Availability depends on hotel occupancy and the desired seminar duration.
The ideal way to start your seminar day is at 10:00 a.m. with a group breakfast. The Stüberl is then converted into a seminar room and is available for your exclusive use until around 5:00 p.m. At lunchtime, we are happy to serve snacks, and in the afternoon we invite you to enjoy a cosy strudel break. Benefit from peace and quiet, daylight and the view of the lake – perfect conditions for concentrated work and creative ideas.

Lake Fuschl offers the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments – whether for small weddings and events for up to approx. 15 people in the hotel (subject to availability) or for exclusive celebrations, for which the entire hotel can be booked during certain weeks in May or October.
The idyllic Schlössl meadow directly on the lake is also available for weddings and small events until around 5 p.m.
