At the restaurant of Hotel Seewinkel, you can enjoy Austrian and international specialties prepared with high-quality ingredients, finesse and great attention to detail. Quality and regionality are always at the heart of our culinary philosophy.

From May to October, all guests – whether staying in the main building or at the Seeschlössl – enjoy breakfast and dinner together in the restaurant with panoramic views or on the sunny lakeside terrace.

Our kitchen team creates varied half-board menus every day with a fine sense for flavour (no à la carte service). Look forward to dishes with authentic taste – from fine meats and fresh regional fish to traditional Austrian specialities, refined with organically produced ingredients. A place for conscious enjoyment in a relaxed atmosphere, with views over the turquoise waters of Lake Fuschl.

Seewinkel gourmet breakfast buffet

Enjoy a generous breakfast buffet featuring over 100 different products. We place great importance on quality and carefully selected ingredients, offering more than 80 organic and/or regional products. Every Sunday, we invite you to raise a glass with a complimentary sparkling wine to start the day.

Coffee and strudel in the lake lounge

In the afternoon, our lake lounge invites you to take a delightful break. Enjoy light snacks, homemade strudels and fine ice cream creations, accompanied by a fragrant cup of coffee – or treat yourself to a cocktail on the sunbathing lawn or as the perfect finale to a beautiful day right on Lake Fuschl.

Evenings to savour – our 4-course half-board dinner

In the evening, reflect on the day’s holiday experiences while enjoying our 4-course half-board menu. Hotel Seewinkel features a bright and welcoming restaurant with beautiful views over Lake Fuschl. Experience moments of true indulgence on our lakeside terrace, accompanied by the gentle shimmer of the water and the special atmosphere of a summer evening by the lake.

As a guest at Hotel Seewinkel, our half-board includes

  • A delicious daily breakfast buffet featuring organic and regional products, a muesli corner and fresh fruit; on Sundays, enjoy a gourmet breakfast with sparkling wine
  • On most days (5 to 7 times per week), we offer a 4-course evening menu, including a crisp salad buffet and a choice of three main courses (we are happy to accommodate your dietary requirements on these days)
  • On up to two evenings per week, we offer special culinary highlights, such as a buffet with regional specialities or a tasting experience (further details will be provided upon arrival)
  • On selected evenings, the menu is complemented by a dessert buffet (ice cream buffet with fresh fruit or a strudel buffet)

Especially when exploring the Salzkammergut or the city of Salzburg, days often turn out longer than planned – making it easy to end the day in a relaxed way. On some evenings, subject to availability, you may spontaneously add dinner at the hotel; on others, you can discover the culinary highlights of the region, such as a classic Wiener Schnitzel at Meissl & Schadn in Salzburg or delicious Salzburg Nockerl and Kaiserschmarrn at Zauner in Bad Ischl.
