The restaurant at Hotel Seewinkel serves Austrian and international specialities, prepared with high-quality ingredients, refinement and attention to detail. Quality and regionality are always the focus.

From May to October, all guests – whether staying in the main building or in the Seeschlössl – enjoy breakfast and dinner together in the restaurant with panoramic views or on the sunny lakeside terrace.

Our kitchen team prepares varied half-board menus every day with great flair (no à la carte service). Look forward to dishes with authentic flavours: from fine meat and fresh fish from the region to typical Austrian delicacies, refined with organically produced ingredients – a place for conscious enjoyment in a relaxed atmosphere, with a view of the turquoise-blue Lake Fuschl.

Seewinkel gourmet breakfast buffet

Enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with over 100 different products. We place great importance on high-quality products and offer over 80 different organic and/or regional products. Every Sunday, there is also a glass of sparkling wine to toast the day.

In the afternoon, our Seelounge invites you to take a delightful break. Enjoy snacks, homemade strudel and delicious ice cream variations, accompanied by a fragrant cup of coffee – or treat yourself to a cocktail on the lawn or at the end of a wonderful day right by Lake Fuschl.

In the evening, let the 4-course gastronomic dinner menu round off your holiday experience

Hotel Seewinkel in Fuschl has a panoramic restaurant with a bright, friendly atmosphere and views over Lake Fuschl. Fresh, regional and certified ingredients are mainly used in our cuisine. Enjoy unforgettably pleasurable moments on our new lake-view terrace with its elegant dining and lounge areas. Take in the spectacular scenery and fresh mountain air as you dine.

As a guest at Hotel Seewinkel you will delight in the Seewinkel gourmet half-board that includes

  • Delicious daily breakfast buffet with organic and regional products, muesli corner and fresh fruit, gourmet breakfast with sparkling wine on Sundays
  • Most days (5 to 7 times a week) we offer a 4-course evening menu including crisp, fresh salads from the buffet and a choice of 3 main courses (we are happy to take your dietary requirements into account on these days)
  • Up to 2 days a week, we offer various specials, such as a buffet with regional delicacies or a tasting. You will receive more information upon arrival.
  • Sometimes with dessert buffet (ice cream buffet with fresh fruit or strudel buffet)

Restaurant guide & flexible catering

At Hotel Seewinkel, you can enjoy complete flexibility – book your stay with breakfast and plan your holiday days individually.

Especially when visiting the Salzkammergut or the city of Salzburg, you often end up staying out longer than planned – and this allows you to end the day in a relaxed manner. On some days, depending on availability, you can spontaneously book dinner with us at the hotel, while on others you can discover the culinary highlights of the region: for example, a Wiener Schnitzel at Meissl & Schadn in Salzburg or delicious Salzburger Nockerl and Kaiserschmarren at Zauner in Bad Ischl.

This allows you to combine the best of both worlds – flexibility and enjoyment – according to your personal holiday rhythm. You will find selected recommendations in our restaurant guide.
