Lake Fuschl, often affectionately referred to as the ‘Caribbean of the Alps’, delights visitors with its emerald green, crystal-clear water and its unique location in the heart of the Salzkammergut. Guests staying at the Hotel Seewinkel can experience the lake from the most beautiful perspective – directly from the water.

Our private beach is located directly in front of the hotel and is the perfect starting point for all swimming enthusiasts and water sports fans.
Stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and a rowing boat are available free of charge – ideal for exploring the crystal-clear Lake Fuschl on your own.

Whether you are actively sporting or simply gliding along in a relaxed manner – here, exercise, nature and relaxation come together in the most pleasant way.

Take advantage of the light breeze in spring, summer and autumn and enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama on board the sailing yacht Sunbeam 22.1.

You can experience a highlight of your holiday directly on Lake Fuschl on a sailing trip with Roman Ferstl. The Fuschlsee offers ideal conditions, especially in spring and autumn, for a perfect relaxing sailing trip, the so-called „SeewinkelTörn“. Your host Roman Ferstl will pick you up at the jetty and explore Lake Fuschl with you on the new Sunbeam 22.1 sailing yacht. With a light breeze, sunshine, and a glass of sparkling wine, even beginners will rave about it.

Roman Ferstl is an experienced sailor and knows the wind conditions on Lake Fuschl very well, so the SeewinkelTörn is a special experience for all skill levels. Ambitious sailors can help after a short time and take the rudder into their own hands.
